We developed the visual identity for hip-hop/experimental artist Kenny Mason's album "Angel Eyes," creating a surreal album cover that merges portraiture with environmental storytelling. The centerpiece features Mason's silhouette constructed from a carefully orchestrated collage of natural imagery—layering landscapes, textures, and organic forms in Photoshop to create a living, breathing representation of the artist. Our cover art employs a mixed-media approach where multiple photographic sources are deconstructed and rebuilt, transforming Mason into a landscape figure that speaks to themes of identity and place. This technique creates visual depth that mirrors the experimental nature of his sound. Supporting materials expand on this aesthetic through strategic use of layer masks and custom hand-drawn typography, establishing a cohesive visual language that balances raw artistic expression with polished design execution.
